Pork In Honey-Soy Sauce

First, fry the pork and then stew it in a thick sauce with honey, soy sauce, vinegar and garlic. The sweet and sour sauce will make the meat very soft and tender, and will also give it an exquisite taste and an appetizing appearance.


Total time: 50 minutes | Cooking time: 20 minutes | Yield: 2 servings



INGREDIENTS


1. Pork - 400 g

2. Onion - 1/2 pc.

3. Garlic - 3 cloves

4. Soy sauce - 50 ml

5. Honey - 2 tbsp.

6. Vinegar - 2 tbsp.

7. Vegetable oil - 45 ml

8. Coriander - 1/2 tsp.

9. Salt - 1/2 tsp.

10. Red pepper - 1/2 tsp.

11. Black pepper - 1/3 tsp.

12. Sesame - to taste




Step By Step Cooking Process


STEP 1

 

Peel the onion and garlic and chop finely.

 

STEP 2

 

Cut the pork into small pieces (1-2 bites) and put it in a bowl. Add coriander (you can add dried garlic instead of coriander, depending on your preferences), ground pepper (black and red) and salt (keep in mind that soy sauce will be added later). Stir. Leave the meat for 10-15 minutes to marinate.

 

STEP 3

 

Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil (2 tbsp) and place the meat in it.

 

STEP 4

 

Fry the meat over high heat, turning occasionally, until done. Usually no more than 12 minutes. Transfer the fried meat to a plate.

 

STEP 5

 

Add 1 tbsp of oil to the freed frying pan and put the onion in. Fry over medium heat, stirring, for 5 minutes.

 

STEP 6

 

Add garlic and fry everything for 1 minute, stirring.

 

STEP 7

 

Add honey, soy sauce, vinegar and 100 ml of water to the pan.

 

STEP 8

 

Heat everything until the honey dissolves, stirring constantly.

 

STEP 9

 

Return the pork to the pan.

 

STEP 10

 

Cook over medium heat, stirring, until the sauce thickens and the meat begins to glaze, 10 to 12 minutes.

 

STEP 11

 

Pork in honey-soy sauce is ready.

If desired, sprinkle the finished dish with sesame seeds and serve.
