Total time: 25-30 minutes | Cooking time: 15-20 minutes | Yield: 2 servings

INGREDIENTS

1. Butter - 65 g

2. Yogurt - 1 tbsp

3. Egg - 1 pc

4. Powdered sugar - 1 tbsp

5. Cornstarch - 1 tbsp

6. Vegetable oil - 40 ml

7. Vanilla - 1/2 tsp

8. Baking powder - 1/2 tsp

9. Flour - 1.5 cups

10. Nuts - 1/2 cup

11. Sugar - 1/2 cup

12. Cinnamon - 1 tsp

Step By Step Cooking Process

STEP 1

Mix the crushed nuts with sugar and cinnamon — this will be your aromatic filling.

STEP 2

In a deep bowl, mix butter, egg, powdered sugar, starch, vanilla and yogurt.

STEP 3

Add the flour and baking powder, mix until smooth. Pour in the oil and knead the dough by hand for a few minutes, shaping it into a ball.

STEP 4

Spread half of the nut mixture onto the table and gently press it down. Place the dough on top, flatten it, and sprinkle with the remaining mixture. Roll it out into a circle, cut into equal triangles, and roll each one into the shape of a croissant.

STEP 5

Arrange the croissants on a greased vegetable oil pan, cover with a lid, and cook over low heat for 15–20 minutes.

STEP 6

Your homemade crunchy croissants are ready. All that’s left is to pour a cup of hot tea and enjoy the perfect autumn morning

Step inside more often, because this autumn the Gentleman Cuisine will bring you even more atmospheric culinary masterpieces.
