Fried Chicken with Zucchini

Chicken with zucchini is a simple, low-calorie, tasty and healthy dish. It can be served with any side dish, and if you increase the amount of vegetables at least twice, it will be an excellent independent dish. An incredibly tasty recipe!

Total time: 50 minutes | Cooking time: 21-24 minutes | Yield: 4 servings



INGREDIENTS


1. Chicken thighs - 600 g

2. Zucchini - 2 pcs

3. Onion - 1 pc

4. Pepper - 1 pc

5. Tomato - 1 pc

6. Garlic - 1 clove

7. Сaraway - 1/2 tsp

8. Salt - 1 tsp

9. Black pepper - 1/2 tsp

10. Parsley - 2 sprigs

11. Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp




Step By Step Cooking Process



STEP 1


Wash the chicken and vegetables under running water and dry.


STEP 2


In a small amount of vegetable oil, fry the chicken cut into small pieces on both sides until slightly browned. If you remove the skin, the dish will be less caloric (but in this case, I recommend adding a little more vegetable oil to avoid burning the chicken).


STEP 3


Reduce the heat and add the onion cut into half rings.


STEP 4


Once the onion is soft, add the seeded and sliced pepper.


STEP 5


After 5-7 minutes, add the chopped zucchini to the pan and cook everything together for another 5-7 minutes.


STEP 6


Dice the tomato, chop the garlic, add to the pan. Cover the pan with a lid and cook on low heat for another 10 minutes.


STEP 7


If you want more gravy, add a little water, salt and pepper to taste, sprinkle the dish with caraway seeds for aroma and flavor.


STEP 8


Chop the greens, sprinkle over the finished dish, stir, cover with a lid and cook the chicken with zucchini for exactly 1 more minute.


STEP 9


Serve as a separate dish or with your favorite side dish. Enjoy!
