Crispy Tilapia With Mashed Potatoes

Tilapia... an incredibly flavorful fish. Served with arrow-sharp, crispy tails standing tall in a cloud of fragrant mashed potato. What could be better? This recipe is perfect in every way and is highly recommended for connoisseurs of fish delicacies.


Total time: 30-40 minutes | Cooking time: 15 minutes | Yield: 1 serving



INGREDIENTS


1. Tilapia - 3 pcs

2. Potatoes - 2 pcs

3. Lime - 1 pc

4. Salt - to taste

5. Pepper - to taste

6. Greens - to taste

7. Vegetable oil – 50 ml

8. Flour - 50 g





Step By Step Cooking Process



STEP 1


Wash the fish, clean, but leave the tails. Place in a deep bowl, pour the juice of half a lime, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Leave to marinate for 10-15 minutes.


STEP 2


Peel the potatoes, wash them, cut them into cubes and boil until done. Then mash them and add salt and pepper to taste.


STEP 3


Dredge the marinated tilapia in flour, then fry over medium heat, adding enough vegetable oil to deep fry the pan, until golden brown. Remove to paper towel.


STEP 4


Place the mashed potatoes on a plate, insert the fish tails up, sprinkle with fresh herbs and lightly sprinkle with lime. Bon appetit, my dear fish lovers!
