Country Style Potatoes

Wonderful and quick to prepare potatoes. This is a great side dish for any meat or fish dish. Minimum ingredients and maximum taste! It is the selected spices that will set the main taste of the dish!

Total time: 30 minutes | Cooking time: 20 minutes | Yield: 3 servings



INGREDIENTS


1. Potatoes - 3 pcs.

2. Garlic - 3 cloves

3. Salt - to taste

4. Black pepper - to taste

5. Dill - 1 sprig

6. ​​Vegetable oil - 70 ml




Step By Step Cooking Process



STEP 1

 

Peel the potatoes and rinse them under running water to remove dirt.

Cut the peeled potatoes lengthwise into 3-6 pieces. Rinse the resulting slices to remove starch, place them on a paper towel and dry off excess moisture.

 

STEP 2

 

To prepare, heat a frying pan until hot and pour vegetable oil into it. Place the prepared potatoes in a single layer in the frying pan. Stir to distribute the oil evenly over the entire surface of the potatoes.

 

STEP 3

 

Fry the country-style potatoes in a frying pan for 15-20 minutes. Gradually, they will become golden brown. Since they are covered with oil on the outside, they will remain soft on the inside. You don’t need to stir them often.

 

STEP 4

 

A couple of minutes before the end of frying, add garlic and a stem of dill to the potatoes, also sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Mix everything.

 

STEP 5

 

The finished potatoes are soft inside and golden brown outside. Place the cooked potatoes on a plate and serve. Enjoy!
