Total time: 15-20 minutes | Cooking time: 5 minutes | Yield: 1 servings
INGREDIENTS
1. Double burger bun - 1 pc
2. Beef - 250 g
3. Bacon - 2 slices
4. Cheese - 2 slices
5. Tomatoes - 1 pc
6. Cucumber - 1 pc
7. Chinese cabbage - 2 leaves
8. Onion - 1 pc
9. Garlic - 3 cloves
10. Mayonnaise - 2 tbsp
11. Salt - to taste
12. Pepper - to taste
13. Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp
14. Butter - 10 g
Step By Step Cooking Process
STEP 1
Wash the meat (I recommend using steak or chuck roll type pieces), dry it, cut it into two portions (if desired, you can also lightly beat the meat, this will add tenderness), remove any excess, then dry it, add salt and pepper to taste.
STEP 2
Heat the pan until it starts to smoke, add a little vegetable oil and put the meat in. Fry for 1-2 minutes, over high heat, then turn over, put the cheese on top, fry for 30 seconds (I recommend covering with a lid so that the cheese melts evenly), then add butter to the pan and a couple of cloves of garlic (preferably crush it first so that the garlic releases juice), baste the meat a couple of times and remove from the stove, moving it to a plate. Ideally, the meat should be medium or medium-rare.
STEP 3
Remove any excess oil from the pan, then lightly fry the bacon for a couple of minutes on each side over medium heat.
STEP 4
After frying the bacon, you can leave the fat and fry the buns on it from the inside until golden brown (the central part can be fried on both sides), so that the buns do not burn, reduce the heat.
STEP 5
Next, we move on to the sauce. It is advisable to prepare the sauce at the very beginning of the process, to let it "simmer", but this is not essential and can be done after frying and cutting the main ingredients. Mix the chopped garlic with mayonnaise in proportions of 1:2. That is, for two spoons of mayonnaise adds one clove of garlic.
STEP 6
Cut the cucumber, tomato and onion into rings, prepare the Chinese cabbage leaves.
STEP 7
Assemble the burger. Grease the first bun with sauce, then put the leaves of Chinese cabbage, meat with cheese, cucumber. Put the second bun, grease with sauce, then tomato, meat with cheese, onion, bacon and cover everything with the last bun, previously greased with sauce. Gently press on top and secure with a wooden stick if desired.
